They were taught for five weeks by artistic professionals to learn skills in community development as well as artistic and practical skills in digital media. They worked with Aboriginal artists Scott Stephens (photographer ), Sébastien Aubin (designer) and KC Adams (visual artist). The project transcends the human tragedy by using the works of Michel Tremblay and Natasha Greenblath, two Montreal playwrights. The background of the photograph features the names of students and employees who were affected by the tragedy. On the Southern wall of the cafeteria, an excerpt from the play <em>We lived in a Palace</em> by young Montreal playwright Natasha Greenblath is&nbsp;printed in a half-circle. Three photographers empower three illuminated&nbsp;<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">abandoned</span><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">&nbsp;billboards, diverted from their original advertising function by the use of giant photographs. From the Bonaventure highway and the railway tracks, millions of commuters can admire the illuminated pieces every day as they enter and leave the city.
