Description:

The work consists of eight paintings. On the walls, they form two square mural sets. The top paintings feature houses that can be found in the town of Saint-Roch-de-l'Achigan. The representations appear in black and white, as in photographic images. The lower paintings present printed visual elements in a square, covered in gold leaf. The pictorial elements evoke the evolution of writing through time.
