The artwork occupies the alcove's entire wall looking onto the men's locker room. The wall is located in the entrance hall, which can be accessed from the West side of the schoolyard and from the South side corridor in the school.

Description:

Wall sculpture occupying an entire wall. The wall surface is divided in the center by a vertical aluminium rectangle. On each side of this central shape, the wall's concrete slabs are covered with galvanized steel sheets, glued onto a piece of plywood. Words related to youth issues were hand-punched into the steel surface. The vertical rectangle consists of a central horizontal piece in brushed aluminium framed by two painted aluminium posts, green on the left and red on the right. In the upper part of this central piece, a blue plexiglass component is a symbol of "the watery matter and the fluidity of the spirit," according to the artist. Above the plexiglass component, a reflecting stainless steel sheet is attached to the lateral posts and to the ceiling.

Note(s):

The engraved words were suggested by the students of École Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire and chosen by the artist. They speak of the concerns of young people while evoking the poetic character of the socio-cultural environment that has flourished in Trois-Rivières. The central piece of the artwork refers to the geographical environment (the St.Lawrence River) by borrowing its colours from navigation codes (those represented by the colours red and green used to guide boats) and its formal representation from the construction world (the artwork is inspired by techniques and formal elements used in the construction industry, such as the principle of vertical casing).

Both sides of the work are located in the Pavillon Le Goéland. The triptych is located on the North-East wall of a corridor leading to the gymnasium, and the mural is on a wall outside the gymnasium.

Description:

Mural painted on a concrete wall and a triptych consisting of a painting with bas-reliefs. The mural consists of horizontal rectangles, blue wavy forms and stylized fishes that swim along the wall. The central painting of the triptych is a thin horizontal rectangle and represents similar fishes on a blue background. The two bas-reliefs are larger than the painting and represent children next to a river, which overflows on both sides of the central painting.

Description:

Mural embedded into the bump out of a wall and made of stacks of laminated polychromatic wood. According to the artist, the outer edges of the piece, which are painted blue and placed in a such a way as to create relief, evoke the movement of waves in the sea. In the middle, the mural is rather shaped like a reddish triangle. A large, vertical groove cuts through this central portion of the work. Here and there, the mural is punctured with small windows showing various inscriptions (signs, numbers, letters, words or codes), as well as with other larger windows that present 3D images.

Description:

The work consists of sculptures and photographs, and includes high reliefs and low reliefs on the theme of "bandes-dessinées" (comic books). Among the illustrated elements, there are characters, animals, modes of transportation, types of habitats and trees. Some of the elements were cut-out and painted in bright colours or in black and white. Other elements were created using the technique of photographic transfer. Text balloons were created using the same techniques and accompany some of the characters. Most of the sculptures seem to peel off the wall at varying levels, while others remain flat against it
