Description:

The installation includes rectangular stainless steel plates and words cut out of steel sheets. Inserted between plates, these words form eight sentences. The work as a whole lies on a gravel bed with two wooden benches in the middle.

The intention is to celebrate water, both through the sculpture itself and by evoking the words that Québec authors have left us. Water has been a generous source of inspiration for writers from around here. Once again and in an unusual way, we bring together two modes of expression, literature and visual arts. - Annie Pelletier
