"I was making word sculptures and wanted to make a piece that signified the Sculpture Garden as 'the place to be...' My work often has humor and irony at its root […] The text was meant to signify its own existence. 'Here' is everything you need to know. […] The rear of the words has a photo mural of a tropical beach from Mexico. The idea was really that once you walked around the piece, 'there' was really where you wanted to go." - David Kramer
