SYMPOÏÉTIQUES: LE PARTAGE DE L’AGIR ET DE L’AUTONOMIE
LANCEMENT DE LA PLATEFORME WEB DES RENCONTRES INTERDISCIPLINAIRES D’HEXAGRAM.

Hexagram, le réseau de recherche-création en arts, cultures et technologies, accueille la première édition des Rencontres interdisciplinaires en ligne. Cette plateforme Web, véritable terrain d’expérimentations destinées à tout public, sera lancée le mardi 15 septembre à midi.
Le thème de cette première édition renvoie à la sympoïèse (Haraway, 2016), c’est-à-dire la relation entre les participants et participantes puis le partage et la coextension de leurs projets, de la conception des oeuvres à l’organisation pratique du symposium. L’événement initial, qui devait avoir lieu pendant trois jours en présentiel au mois de mai 2020, a été adapté en raison de la pandémie. La plateforme numérique souhaite ainsi surpasser la diffusion en ligne habituelle en adoptant des modalités participatives. La précarité des espaces de création physique dans laquelle nous place la situation actuelle nous convie à une nécessaire réinvention d’autres moyens pour pratiquer la solidarité sociale. Étant donné les contraintes spatiales inhérentes à la distanciation physique, les Rencontres interdisciplinaires d’Hexagram tenteront de concevoir un nouvel univers de contributions inédites en ligne, y compris d'autres événements et projets qui seront ajoutés au cours de l'automne.
La plateforme numérique, produite spécialement pour cette première édition, se comporte comme une recherche-création à part entière. Elle regroupe une vingtaine de participantes et participants des milieux universitaires et des communautés de pratique. Les publics seront conviés à découvrir une multitude d’approches novatrices. La plateforme regorge de performances, d’articles scientifiques, de discussions, d’ateliers, de présentations, de vidéos, d’art biologique, de photographies, de jeux, de sons et d’imageries 3D. En lien avec le mandat d’Hexagram, l’ensemble constituera un éventail probant d’expérimentations de recherche-création numérique, matérielle, textuelle et technologique.

LAUNCH OF HEXAGRAM'S INTERDISCIPLINARY SUMMIT WEB PLATFORM.

Hexagram, the network dedicated to research-creation in arts, culture, and technology, is hosting the first edition of its online Interdisciplinary Summit. This web platform, which will provide a creative laboratory for all, will be launched on the 15th of September at noon.
The theme of this first edition makes reference to sympoiesis (Haraway, 2016), which is to say the relationship between participants and the sharing and co-extension of their projects—extending from the design of the works to the practical organization of the symposium. The event was initially intended to take place in person over three days in May 2020 and has since been adapted due to the pandemic. Through the digital platform, the hope is to extend typical approaches online by engaging researchers and the public to interact together. The precarity affecting physical creation spaces, caused by the current situation, demands a much-needed reimagining of the means by which social solidarity can be practiced. Given the spatial constraints inherent in physical distancing, Hexagram's Interdisciplinary Summit will attempt to present a new world filled with innovative online contributions, including other events and projects to be added over the course of the Fall season.
The digital platform created especially for this first edition acts as a full-fledged avenue for research-creation. It will bring together over 20 participants from academia and communities of practice, and audiences will be invited to discover a multitude of innovative approaches. The platform will be comprised of performances, scientific articles, discussions, workshops, presentations, videos, BioArt, photography, games, sounds, and 3D imagery. In line with Hexagram's mandate, the summit itself will constitute an engaging combination of experiments in digital, material, textual and technological research-creation.
The 15th of September at noon will be the time to take part in the launch of Hexagram's Interdisciplinary Summit and enter a world of sympoietic research-creation.
