Salvador Barajas is a researcher and artist (b. 1970) based in Appalachia. His work explores social memory, visual culture, experimental sound, globalization and decolonial thought. His work has been exhibited and presented at festivals, conferences and galleries throughout the United States. Salvador is visiting assistant professor in the Department of Global Politics and Societies at Hollins University.
