Laboratoire NT2

Founded in 2004, the NT2 Laboratory (Lab NT2) is a research center based at the University of Quebec in Montreal (Canada) working to promote digital art and literature, to critically analyze digital culture, and to archive hypermedia artworks. Its main focus is the development of novel strategies for research in Digital Humanities. Lab NT2’s work relies on the hypothesis that contemporary artistic and literary creation offers crucial insights into the practices of tomorrow’s society. Lab NT2 maintains a ‘free access’ approach in curating its exhibitions, with all of the works viewable online without restriction.
