Lalonde, Joanne

Dr. Joanne Lalonde is currently Full Professor in the Art History Department at UQAM. Her research relates to practices in media and hypermedia art. She is also interested in representations of genre, mixed sex and identity in contemporary art, in modalities of interactivity in hypermedia art, and in methodological research on the emerging artistic practices. Recently, she published two essays on hypermedia culture, Le performatif du Web (Chambre Blanche 2010), L’Abécédaire du Web (PUQ 2012) and she curated an on-line eponymous exhibition in collaboration with UQAM’s NT2 team.
