The artwork was created on the occasion of a neighborhood feast. People were asked to answer a questionnaire about their gardening practices.

"I was hoping that this piece would encourage observation and dialogue about the unique gardens that are an important part of my community. The text functioned as an invitation for the viewer to become a participant, another point of entry into the project."
