History:

As the initial public art project for the new Audain Gallery in the downtown campus of Simon Fraser University Woodward's, four visual artists who are SFU alumni were commissioned to create site-specific public art works for a series entitled Coming Soon.
These provocative works address the qualities of the neighbourhood and the context of the new location of SFU's School for the Contemporary Arts. Coming Soon highlights the Audain Gallery's commitment to art in the public sphere that addresses the present and history of Vancouver.
