History:
During installation, there were no traces of 350 around the sculpture. In 2000, these traces have been replaced by two trails. The cedars that had initially taken place between the words were replaced by groves of grass and dogwood. These changes are designed to adapt the work to climatic conditions and ensure conservation. The artwork was carried out for the first International Exhibition of outdoor sculpture of Montreal (SISEM), which took place from July 9 to Sept. 7, whose theme was "For the four winds" in the celebrations of the 350th anniversary of the Foundation of Montreal. At his installation in Lachine, this sculpture had three hundred and fifty footsteps of made no concrete colorful suggesting the movement of passengers. They were replaced in 2000 by two trails.
