Elizabeth Johnson (MFA), an Assistant Professor at the University of Florida (Gainesville), and here she acts as co-presenter with Luc Vanier. Their work together focuses on how they see this digital age critically impacting human health and movement possibilities. They insist the "new" mediated body hearkens back to our primal ancestors' and childhood capacity for the appropriate balance of intention, attention, and activity. Their presentation will be a mix of physical practice with an audience feedback session. They will also present a talk on the nature of the Alexander Technique, developmental philosophies, and our work linking developmental processes with appropriate movement intention.
