Argelia Peña Aguilar is currently studying a PhD in Translation Studies at the University of Ottawa (fourth year), and her research interests revolve around feminist translation studies and translation technologies training. She has been an Associate professor at the University of Quintana Roo (Mexico) for fourteen years (currently on a leave of absence). She has taught English Language and Translation/Interpreting courses from English into Spanish in the Language and Education Department.
