Located along the "Philosopher's Walk" (footpath), St.George campus, between Hoskin Avenue and Bloor Street West, Southwest of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM, 100 Queens Park, Toronto, ON)

1,000 greetings from the Wish Machine Project, by Chrysanne Stathacos, 1997 - today (project still in progress).
1. The texts of One Garden One Night One Wish reuse important excerpts from the Wish Machine Project (1997-present) by Chrysanne Stathacos. This interactive public art project was commissioned by Grand Central Station for the exhibition Creative Time in 1997-1998. The artwork was presented in several countries since, including the Power Plant Gallery in Toronto, in 1999, and in Frankfurt, Germany, in 2001

"1000+ Wishes is a book of anonymous wishes that have been collected from around the world via wishmachine.com, fax, mail, written and spoken"; "To date, over 20,000 people have participated in The Wish Machine Project. The Wish Machine is trademarked. 1000+ Wishes and wishmachine.com."

The tree emitted a sound score by Andrew Zealley, while Chrysanne Stathacos wrapped its trunk with silver strings and silver papers. Visitors were invited to attach printed 'wishes', available at the site, to its branches.
