Œuvre d'art public
Un Jeudi soir à 5 h
The artwork is on the ceiling of the waiting area.
The work consists of nine suspended sculptures, approximately eight hundred small, colourful isosceles triangles and nine sentences or words, all attached to the ceiling. Each sculpture is associated with a theme, a colour and an itinerary represented by triangles of the same colour and a sentence or word.
Ce soir, j’ai rendez-vous avec Gwenaëlle
Qu’est-ce qu’on fait en fin de semaine ?
Surtout attendre jusqu’au dernier moment
Et dire que demain ça recommence
Tu m’as manqué (e) … Katia !
Ici, un jour, il t’est arrivé, toi aussi, d’éprouver cette sensation
Jamais ils ne se séparaient sans avoir convenu / d’un autre endroit où se retrouver
Le reverrai-je demain ?
According to the artist, the green apple evokes "food" and is associated with the sentence "CE SOIR, J’AI RENDEZ-VOUS AVEC GWENAËLLE". The orange leaf represents "the week-end" and is associated with the question "QU’EST-CE QU’ON FAIT EN FIN DE SEMAINE ?. The sentence "SURTOUT ATTENDRE JUSQU’AU DERNIER MOMENT" is written next to a purple gift, which represents "the joy of suspending". The maroon cellular phone is associated with the sentence "ET DIRE QUE DEMAIN ÇA RECOMMENCE" and evokes "work", while the red heart and the the sentence "TU M’AS MANQUÉ (E) …" represent "love". The yellow sun represents "friendship" and is associated with the word "KATIA !" The pictogram for a women's toilet evokes "vital needs" and is associated with the sentence "ICI, UN JOUR, IL T’EST ARRIVÉ, TOI AUSSI, D’ÉPROUVER CETTE SENSATION". The sentence "JAMAIS ILS NE SE SÉPARAIENT SANS AVOIR CONVENU / D’UN AUTRE ENDROIT OÙ SE RETROUVER" is written near the open book, which symbolizes reading . The white cloud sculpture and the QUESTION "LE REVERRAI-JE DEMAIN ?" is associated with "dreaming".
