Honoring the dead

History: 

Ice letters were made as memorials to honour those who have passed away. «Friend» was created in memory of the artist's friend Peter Kemp who died in the summer of 2007 in a hiking accident.

Event:  Night of All Souls Memorial Celebration, Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver, 2007. Organized by the city of Vancouver. Artists : Haruko Okano, Nhan Duc Nguyen, Nicole Dextras & Erik Lees, Marina Szijarto, Sonja Hebert, Tamara Unroe & Walter Quan.
