Artwork identification
The artwork is located in the main hall of Pavillon Président-Kennedy.
The work consists of murals and objects placed on the ground. A mural on the upper wall of the hall features a vast mountainous landscape. Another mural is located at the mezzanine level and also features a mountainous landscape. In addition, irregularly shaped cubes are placed on the ground. These blocks feature engraved Greek texts dating from the 1st century BC.
Greek texts
The artwork speaks of life, matter and the passage of time. It speaks of the relationship between nature, science and art, between concrete matter and the abstract notion linked to its study.
