The PLEPUC database is an expandable directory of literary works in Canadian public space. It offers various search modes.

Homepage
Basic Search
You can perform a simple search by entering one word, a number of words or an exact phrase. You don’t need to enter the AND operator, which is implied.
     Examples:
          Proper name: Ron Terada
          Keywords: community women
          Exact phrase (using quotation marks): “new world”

Advanced Search
You can perform an advanced search by choosing a description field. A list of terms will then appear showing the number of literary works associated with each term. You can then choose a term to consult the list of associated works.

List of Literary Works
Complete list of the literary works covered in the database. To consult a work’s entry, simply click on its title.
You can also choose one of the categories for this title and consult the list of associated works.

Bibliography
Complete list of the database’s bibliographical resources. You can choose to view this list in alphabetical order by AUTHOR, TYPE of document or YEAR of publication. When you select a bibliographical entry, the title(s) of the work(s) related to this entry will appear at the bottom of the record.

Cartography by Artist
List of artists with 2 literary works or more in the database. When you choose an artist’s name, you will be able to refer to a geographical map that locates this artist’s works throughout Canada. Select a blue marker and you will be able to consult this work’s entry by clicking on its title.

Cartography by Location
Map offering the possibility to search for works throughout the country. You can select a province or territory and consult the works in that region. You can also search further by using the various arrows. Select a blue marker and you will be able to consult this work’s entry by clicking on its title.
