Description:

Relief-painting on a rectangular wooden support. Wooden cutout figures are painted in bright colours, standing out against a black background. They represent, among others, an acrobat, a hand-balancer with a chair, a tree, two birds and a horseman on an obstacle course. Two of the figures "overflow" outside of the support. In the lower part of the composition, stamp-like letters and symbols are printed on the entire width of the work, spelling out the phrase "Suivre son étoile".
