Valerie Breuvart-Culbertson is an art historian who received her D.E.A. in History of Art, MA degree in Political Science, and BA and MA degrees in History of Art at Paris X University (Nanterre.) She was a Lecturer at the Galerie Nationale du Jeu de Paume, Paris, and taught a course in Contemporary Art History at the Sorbonne. Valerie was the Commissioning Editor for Contemporary Art at Phaidon Press in New York and Collections Archivist for the Judd Foundation before joining SITES. She currently works for the organization as a consultant in the area of art history.
