Gaggi, Silvio

Silvio Gaggi is Adjunct Professor and Emeritus Professor of Humanities at USF.  He has taught courses in modern and postmodern culture, film history, and the Renaissance.  He has published numerous articles and books dealing with various aspects of twentieth century arts and ideas.  Modern/Postmodern, A Study in Twentieth Century Arts and Ideas was published by the University of Pennsylvania Press in 1989, and From Text to Hypertext, Decentering the Subject in Fiction, Film, the Visual Arts, and Electronic Media was published by Penn in 1997. He has participated in study abroad programs in Florence, Italy and Cambridge, England.
