Dr Anthony Gardner is a University Lecturer in Contemporary Art History and Theory and Fellow of the Queen’s College. He is working at the intersection of political theory and art and exhibition histories since the early 1950s, and has published widely on the topic. He is currently preparing Politically Unbecoming: Post-Socialist Art’s Critiques of Democracy for publication with MIT Press.
