Thea Pitman is Senior Lecturer in Latin American Studies in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Leeds, UK. Her research interests in the field of online cultural production include hypertext and hypermedia works, net.art, online performance art, tactical media, digital film and blogs. Her publications focus on the work of such cultural producers as Doménico Chiappe, Blas Valdez, Guillermo Gómez-Peña, and Yoani Sánchez, to name but a few.
