Filippo Lorenzin is an independent curator and critic of contemporary art. He works as author and commentator for several international magazines, i.e. Artribune and Digicult.He studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti and at the University Iuav, both in Venice, strongly interested in research that deals with the problems arising from the mode of interaction between individuals, cultural contexts and tools. He developed numerous studies about the relationship between contemporary art, Internet and online audiences by addressing cases like crowdfunding and virtual art exhibitions. As curator and critic, he worked on many exhibitions, events and series of lectures focusing on the relation between sociotechnological changes and art, based on a McLuhanian point of view. Hecollaborated in various ways with – among others - François Pinault Foundation, Mart Museo d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto, La Biennale di Venezia, Academy of Brera and Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia.
