Statut de l'individu:
Professeur·e
I am an alumni from the University of Montreal and from the University Stendhal – Grenoble 3. I mostly work on how crime is fictionalized in 19th-century novels and on the development of newspapers fiction (roman-feuilleton). After studying urban mysteries in my doctoral thesis, I now focus my research on how popular culture gives us insights on the anxieties and the fascination created by modernity. I am currently principal investigator on a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Insight Development Grant looking to build an online database of newspaper fiction during the July Monarchy in France.
