«The central element in Silicon Remembers Carbon is a large video image projected down onto a bed of sand on the floor of the installation space. Visitors' movements subtly affect the mixing and dissolving of video images and sounds. Each visitor leaves traces which affect the experience of the work for later visitors.

«Skies provides viewers with an interactive experience of the environments of nature. Visitors encounter a large dark room containing two video projections of a night sky, one on the floor and one on the back wall. Visitors can walk around the imagery or directly onto it. When visitors walk onto the video projection, black paths appear under their feet at specific locations. As the 5 hidden paths are discovered by multiple viewers, the imagery and sound transform according to the specific paths discovered.

«Upon entering the semi-dark installation space, the viewer encounters a video image of a dancer, a young black woman, which is projected life size. A pedestal base lit by a spotlight, stands in the centre of the gallery. On the pedestal base is the interface for the installation, a computer mouse. In a semi-circle, between the pedestal base and the projected image, are a total of six small (6" diagonal) colour monitors. En frottant une roche avec la main, le visiteur fait apparaître l'ange Gabriel sur un peid d'estale . Ce denier prononce alors un discours.

«Stepping into the installation space, the viewer is surrounded by four large colour monitors. Displayed on each monitor is real-time, full motion video of a different view: the four edges or corners of a meadow as seen from a central vantage point. It is winter in the meadow, then suddenly the season shifts. The views remain the same, but a certain motion or sequence of movements has triggered a transformation. Suddenly it is spring.

En pointant un fusil sur l'écran, le joueur, en visant un personnage, déclenche un point chaud amenant l'interaction avec le personnage.

En enfilant les Tongs, il est possible d'explorer la surface d'un terrain gazonné. La projection vidéo progresse au rythme des pas du spectateur.

«S'approchant du moniteur vidéo, le spectateur se place debout face à lui et voit le visage d'une femme portant des lunettes de soleil qui le regarde. Seul le bip-bip d'un signal audio accompagne cette image. Le spectateur se tient un moment devant le moniteur. Quand il se décide à passer son chemin, il entend un souffle saccadé. Étonné par ce brusque changement sonore, il se retourne vers l'écran. Il apperçoit alors durant quelques secondes une boxeuse se réflétant dans les lunettes de soleil et boxant dans sa direction. A tavers ce reflet, le spectateur est mis dans la position l'agresseur, c'est-à-dire de la boxeuse se réflétant dans le miroir des lunettes de soleil.» (Jouable p. 227)
